Home banking

Home banking
  Is the popular name given to a client based Electronic Transaction Initiation (ETI) and account enquiry facilities. The financial institution's clients are able to access a variety of standard banking functions through (usually their own) PC equipment (via the local PSDN/PDN). Possible functions include:
• account transfers.
• balance enquiries.
• cheque book and statement ordering.
• account officer communications.
  This facility allows the client to enter short messages via their own PC for the attention of their relevant account officer (e.g. Please contact me today concerning ...). e. all HB functions can be delivered in either English or the local official language.
